Some brands have announced their discounts, contests and freebies, but many more 2025 Nurses Week discounts may be announced on May 6th, so check back to see what’s been added. We’ll add new deals as soon as we see them to ensure hardworking nurses across the nation get the deals they deserve. Some brands have published the pages where their discounts, contests or freebies will be posted once they’re live, but others just told various news outlets about these Nurses Week deals but aren’t actively advertising them. Use the following curated list of what we’ve verified so far to find advertised and unadvertised deals.

Free Food for Nurses During Nurses Week 2025

• Applebee’s Grill & Bar: From April 28th through May 10th, nurses get a free appetizer up to a $12 value with the purchase of any adult entree. Must mention the Facebook ad and show your work badge to the server to get this deal. Only available at Flynn Group owned Applebee’s locations in AL, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, MA, ME, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OR, PA, RI, VT, WA, WI, WV and Plattsburg, NY.

• Aroma Joe’s: Get a free 24-ounce drink with a valid ID on May 6th only.

• Bubbakoos Burritos: Nurses get 20% off in-store entrees May 6th through 12th.

• Buffalo Wild Wings: Between May 5th and 11th, receive 20% off meals, whether you dine in, walk in or call in.

• Free Chick-fil-A for Nurses Week: Offers vary by franchise participation, but often include free sandwiches, coffee and other treats. Check your local store for details. Here are some specials Vivian found at various locations to give you an idea of what might be available locally:

Get an extra special treat at the end of the week if you verify with ID.me in your CFA One Mobile App.
  • Chick-fil-A Brookfield, CT: From May 5th to May 9th, nurses get free breakfast, including one entree and one coffee, from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with a valid work ID
  • Chick-fil-A Manhattan, KS: Celebrating nurses with something special to those who verify their Chick-fil-A One account and verify with ID.me through the app.
  • Chick-fil-A Danbury Fair Mall, Danbury, CT: Nurses receive a free iced coffee of their choice from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM from May 5th through 9th.
  • Chick-fil-A, Dickson City, PA: Nurses get free Chick-fil-A all week. May 5: Free any size Coca-Cola fountain drink / May 6: Free Chick-fil-A biscuit before 10:30 AM or Chicken Sandwich after 10:30 AM / May 7: Free milkshake / May 8: Free 8 count original or grilled chicken nuggets / May 9: Free pineapple dragonfruit drink. Must register using ID.me to receive rewards through the Chick-fil-A One App.
  • Chick-fil-A, Forest City, NC: May 5 Only: Free Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit 6 AM to 10:30 AM or Original Chicken Sandwich from 10:30 AM to 10 PM. No purchase necessary. Must show valid ID/badge to claim one item per person.
  • Chick-fil-A, Marysville, WA: Nurses registered in the Chick-fil-A One App for the Marysville location receive free treats all week. May 5: Free any size Coca-Cola fountain drink / May 6: Free Chick-fil-A biscuit before 10:30 AM or Chicken Sandwich after 10:30 AM / May 7: Free milkshake / May 8: Free 8 count original or grilled chicken nuggets / May 9: Free pineapple dragonfruit drink. Nurses not registered on the App can still receive a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich or biscuit on May 6th by showing their badge.
  • Chick-fil-A, Beaumont, TX: Nurses get treats all week. May 5: Free Chicken biscuit 5 AM to 9 AM / May 6: Free Medium Waffle Fry 4 PM to 7 PM / May 7: Free Chicken Minis 6 AM to 9 AM / May 8: Free 8 Count Nuggets 4 PM to 7 PM / May 9: Free Chicken Sandwich 4 PM to 7 PM. Must show valid ID. Only available at the Dowlen Road or College Street locations.

• Chipotle: The “Chipotle Healthcare Professional and Teacher” Sweepstakes purposely coincides with Nurses Week each year, and 2025 keeps that trend. The contest begins on or about April 30, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on May 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time and will award 100,000 Burrito E-Cards to Healthcare Professionals who enter the contest.

• Cinnabon: Free Classic Cinnamon Roll, Minibon or 4-count Bonbites at participating locations (unconfirmed/based on third-party site).

• Dunkin’: Free medium hot or iced coffee on May 6th, no purchase necessary at select locations. ​Some are doing May 12th, so ask your local restaurant before ordering.

• Grimaldi’s Pizzeria: Get 25% off your favorite coal-fired pizza from May 5th through 9th in-store only.

• Happy Joe’s: Participating locations are giving nurses 20% off between May 6th and 12th.

• Honeygrow: Nominate a nursing unit through May 11 to win a $250 catering gift card, with 10 nursing unit winners chosen on May 12. Available at 55 locations in 8 states.

• HTeaO: Nurses get a Buy One, Get One Free deal on all cups of tea on May 5–9 with a valid hospital, doctor’s office or school nurse ID. Available at 161 locations in 9 states.

• Insomnia Cookies: Nurses can enjoy the Buy One Get One Free Classic cookies deal between May 5th and 11th.

• Logan’s Roadhouse: Get 20% off one entrée when you show your nurse ID, dine-in only, between May 5th and 12th.

• McAlister’s Deli: Nurses can get free tea at participating locations from May 5th through 12th, with no purchase necessary.

• McDonald’s: Participating locations are honoring nurses this week in various ways. While some are offering a free breakfast or lunch/dinner on May 12th only, others are offering free drinks all week (May 6th through 12th). Check with your local restaurant to see what they’re offering.

• MOD Pizza: Participating locations are giving nurses Buy One Get One Free pizzas from May 5th through 8th with a valid ID in stores only.

• Mountain Mike’s Pizza: Showing its appreciation with a 15% off deal on all pizzas between May 6th and 9th with code APPRECIATE25 at participating locations. Other locations are doing Free 1-Topping Pizzas on May 7th or a Free Mini Pizza from May 5th through 9th for dine-in or carryout only.

• Noodles & Company: All customers can save 15% off catering orders of $150 or more in honor of National Nurses Week through May 12th.

• Original ChopShop: Flash your badge to save 10% off dine-in and to-go orders from May 5th through 9th.

• Potbelly: Score a free cookie or fountain drink when you buy any entrée through May 11th in-store only.

• Ruby Tuesday: Get a free add-on Garden Bar with promo code THANKYOU25 in-store only from May 5th through 8th.

• Scooter’s Coffee: Nurses and healthcare workers with a valid ID will receive a free medium drink on May 6, 2025. A limited number of Healthcare Heroes stickers will be available at each location for nurses and healthcare workers while supplies last.

• Shake Shack: Participating locations are giving nurses a free Classic or LTO shake with any purchase from May 6th through 12th (limit one per order).

• Shipley Do-Nuts: Nurses who are loyalty members can get a half dozen doughnuts free between May 4th and 6th.

• Smoothie King: Participating restaurants are offering 20% off on orders made in-store from May 6 through 8 to nurses with a word badge and some are doing drawings, so check with your local franchise. Includes:
  • Smoothie King, Southern Illinois (Locations: Carbondale and Marion)
  • Smoothie King, Northeastern Kansas: (Locations: Overland Park x2, Leawood, Olathe x2, Parkville and Lawrence)

• Sonny’s BBQ: Nurses get a Free Pork Big Deal from Monday, May 5, to Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (8 p.m. EST). That’s a pulled or sliced pork sandwich on garlic bread or a bun, along with your choice of a Sidekick and drink. Sonny BBQ is a regional restaurant with locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. You can also submit a Random Acts of BBQ nomination from April 22 to May 7 for a nurse who goes the extra mile and they might win a surprise BBQ feast! Available at 89 locations in 8 states.

• Starbucks Nurses Week Deal: Mixed reviews on nurses get free Starbucks coffee anytime during Nurses Week. A few social posts indicate that some nurses did get free coffee at their local Starbucks, but there are way more that said theirs weren’t giving out free coffee. Doesn’t hurt to ask, but don’t be surprised if the answer is no. Unable to confirm on its corporate site or any social sites if their franchises are participating in Nurses Week 2025.

• TGI Fridays: Get a free cheeseburger and fries, crispy chicken fingers with fries and coleslaw, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, half rack of ribs with choice of side or half portion Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta on May 6th from 11 AM to 8 PM.

• The Greene Turtle: Eat on the house with a free meal valued at up to $15 when you dine in on May 6th.

• Tiff’s Treats: Enjoy 15% off your cookie orders between May 5th and 9th using the code 15TIFFS in celebration of nurses.

• Tijuana Flats: Nurses get 20% off dine-in or carryout purchases with a valid ID and the code NURTEA25 on May 7th.

• Tim Hortons: Participating locations are giving nurses Buy One Doughnut Get One Free or Buy 12 doughnuts, Get 6 Free from May 6th through 12th.

Sports Team Showing Their Appreciation in 2025

Support your favorite teams during Nurses Week 2025! Several major league sports teams want to honor nurses and healthcare professionals with special appreciation nights. These events feature discounted tickets, themed giveaways and on-field recognition for healthcare heroes. Score some cool gear and a night of fun at these confirmed Nurse/Healthcare Professional Appreciation events during Nurses Week 2025:

• Arizona Diamondbacks: Join the D-backs when they take on the New York Mets on Nurse Appreciation Night with a special ticket package on May 6, 2025. The package includes a Diamondbacks hat with a nod to nurses. Plus, one nominated nurse will throw out the first pitch and sing the National Anthem before the game.

• Kansas City Royals: Nurses Night on May 9, 2025, features the Royals vs. the Boston Red Sox at 6:40 p.m. The Royals celebrate Kansas City’s nurses with a theme ticket event. Fans who purchase the special Nurses Night ticket receive access to photo opportunities and local vendors at the ballpark, but the exclusive, limited supply of Royals-branded crossbody bags being given away for this event has sold out

• Los Angeles Angels: Healthcare Appreciation Night will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Angel Stadium. • Pittsburgh Pirates: The Pirates are thanking healthcare workers over an entire weekend series versus the Atlanta Braves during their Healthcare Appreciation Series. • Seattle Mariners: The Mariners’ Nurse Appreciation Night presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health just misses National Nurses Week 2025, falling on May 13th. Specially priced tickets to the matchup against the New York Yankees also score you a Mariners-themed Quilted Quarter Zip.

How to Get Freebies and Deals for Nurses Week 2025

Most places will ask to see your employee ID card to get free offers in person, so be sure to have it handy. You may also need to be a loyalty program member or download an app to access certain offers. When redeeming online offers, many companies use the verification services ID.me or SheerID to validate credentials. These sites will ask you to upload your nursing license and/or proof of employment to validate your status and claim your nurse discounts.

Remember to check out local shops, too. Many neighborhood restaurants and stores offer nurses discounts or freebies locally, which may not be widely publicized. Follow your favorites on social media to be in the know.
