Job Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (not including on-call time)
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Work autonomously in various clinical settings, including the administration of respiratory care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- CPR-AHA certification.
- NRP certification required.
- RRT certification.
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
- Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy.
Additional Information
- NICU experience is required; candidates with some pediatric experience may be considered, but must have NICU experience.
- Delivery room experience preferred.
- Rotating or all-night position, 36 hours/week, with every third weekend required.
- Essential to have experience in a level 2 and 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery in a birthing hospital.
- Local travelers (those residing within 50 miles of the facility) will not be accepted.
- Candidates who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months will not be considered; a separation of six months from the facility is required.
Start Date
- ASAP starts, with a compliance period of 4 weeks.
- Orientation is held weekly (every Monday, barring holidays).
Interview Process
- Candidates must provide available dates and times for an interview at the time of submission.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at the time of submission.
