Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist (Travel)

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Facility: Salem Hospital, Mass General Brigham

Position Details

• Specialty: X-Ray Technologist
• Employment Type: Travel
• Shift: Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (36 hours total, Days & Every Other Weekend)
• Unit: MRI – X-Ray Tech
• Unit Description: Coverage rotates between two sites—one outpatient and one hospital-based
• Bed Count: 395 beds at Salem Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Experience with Siemens Scanner
• Phlebotomy skills
• Proficiency with Outlook
• Strong interpersonal skills

Certifications & Licenses Required

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• CPR certification
• Massachusetts professional license (no conditional licenses accepted)

Work Requirements

• Floating between units required
• Rotating shifts required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Use of EPIC EMR system for charting

Health & Safety Requirements

• Primary COVID-19 vaccination series completed (no exemptions)
• N95 fit test within 365 days of start date (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
• Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity preferred
• Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 365 days
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)

Background & Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists
• Verification of highest level of education achieved
• Social Security Number trace for past 7 years addresses/employment/schooling
• Submission of professional references (minimum 2, including 1 supervisor or above)
