Job Details

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in CT/X-Ray
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT-CT (Certified CT Technologist)
- ARRT-R (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
- Fluoroscopy certification
- California state license

Additional Information

Equipment:
- 2 Scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 & GE 16 Light Speed
Patient Ratios: 10-20 scans depending on the shift; evenings are the busiest.
EMR Systems: Cerner & McKesson PACS
Holidays: Same hours as weekends; work into rotation.
Scrub Color: Teal
Radiology Coverage: Radiologist is not available 24/7; Nighthawk is used for night shifts.
Floating: Radiology department
Orientation: 3-4 shifts specific to the floor
Common Diagnoses/Types of Patients: ER patients, Virtual Colonography, gated procedures; general CT experience required.
