Description

Operating Room Travel Position

Employment Type: Travel
Specialty: Operating Room (Cardiovascular)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:30am - 5:00pm)
One call and one day off per week
One full weekend of call per month
Consecutive shifts are not guaranteed
Expected to work every other holiday
Shift hours and on-call responsibilities will be discussed during the facility interview

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular OR experience
AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required
Facility will not accept local candidates within 75 miles

Equipment and Skills

Experience with Moderate Sedation
Familiarity with infusion pumps, ultrasound machines
Experience with Laparoscopic Olympus Equipment, da Vinci Robot, Rosa Robot, Monarch Robot
Use of SCD's, Bair Hugger, Microscopes, Neptune, smoke evacuators
EMR System: EPIC

Additional Information

Facility allows up to 3 shift call-offs for a 13-week contract (2 shifts for contracts less than 13 weeks)
Includes 8 hours of non-billable orientation
