o 247 Licensed Beds
o Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center
o Teaching Hospital
o Chest Pain Center
o Certified Stroke Center
o Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
? Department Information:
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team)
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Will provide Respiratory care for all patients throughout facility
o Neonate – Pediatric; will care for Adults as often as is needed when floated
? Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (Resource Team requirements)
o RRT or CRT
o NC Licensure
? Skills required:
o 2 years Respiratory Therapy (Resource Team); IPPV/NIPPV ventilator experience
o ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, Gen Med Floors
? Support within the Department:
o Respiratory Leadership
? Technology/Equipment:
o EMR: EPIC
o Department specific Equipment: ventilators (IPPV/NIPPV)
? Floating:
o Will be required to float per Region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
? Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, any Freestanding ED within Region, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
? If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid fo
