📋 Licensing & Education

• BSN: Required
• License: Active nursing license required at submission
• Certifications (all required):
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE Certification
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
  • Note: Advanced Fetal Monitoring must not be via AWHONN only

• Oversees OB unit operations under direction of Assistant CNO
• Manages staff hiring, promotion, evaluation, and discipline
• Ensures staffing effectiveness and competency mix
• Leads quality/safety improvements and compliance with regulatory standards
• Fosters strong collaboration with staff and physicians
• Oversees financial planning, capital allocation, and budgeting
• Coordinates patient care and manages unit scheduling
• Leads professional nursing practice and shared governance
• Drives improvements in patient satisfaction and safety culture
• Investigates technology and supports evidence-based planning

• Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Meetings & Communication: Responsible for attending meetings, managing communication, and regulatory follow-ups
