Pros
opportunity to work in psych-high drug and alcohol abuse population especially in winter, most nurses are kind to travelers, pt population is well-to-do so you get a certain type of pt but that can also mean pts expect more,
Cons
travelers are used as HOLDS nurses and not told in interview, travelers are not allowed to be on the trauma/critical care side, much older pt population with a lot of holding of pts with dementia, the docs order MRIs on EVERYBODY-even when it is not necessary, high admit rate hence the holds
- Short Term Acute Care
- 345 beds

Pros
Scott is a gem. I have worked with several recruiters, however, I'd like to say that he's truly one of a kind. He is very attentive, never promises more than he can deliver, and is very responsive. I had never heard of NDGCS, prior to getting my current contract. I am definitely glad that I did and I got to work with such an amazing recruiter. Keep it up Scott. We truly appreciate you.
