Position Details

• Shift: 4x10 hour days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Call rotation averaging 10 days/month including weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (facility may low census/cancel 36 hours per contract)
• Locals Accepted: No (must live more than 70 miles from facility)
• Pending License: Accepted at manager's discretion
• Floating: No floating outside scope of practice

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• Epic experience required
• ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required depending on unit (verify with program management)

Clinical Requirements & Skills

• Experience with Outpatient, Inpatient, and Adult ICU settings required
• Proficient with PACS, C-Arm, Contrast, and Biopsies
• Experience with:

  • Stents, angioplasty, angiograms
  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram
  • Peripheral procedures, biopsies, drainages
  • Vascular studies, venous access, neuro studies
  • Genitourinary (GU), abdomen, pelvis, upper/lower extremities
• Must be able to use and deploy pushable/detachable coils
• Skilled in use of micro catheters, micro wires, Snare Kits
• Experience with injector systems preferred (ACIST preferred)

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID required
• I9 and E-Verify documentation required
• Background check within 12 months including SSN trace, 7-year county, nationwide, and sex offender searches
• Drug screen within 12 months required
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption (seasonal)
  • COVID-19 vaccine preferred but not required
  • Hepatitis B, Mumps, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella documentation or titers
  • TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
• OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start (fit testing done onsite during orientation)
• Fit test required annually; must be clean-shaven for fit test at this facility
• Physical exam within 1 year of start required
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules and checklists
• Post-start orientation checklists and assessments required
• Skills checklist required

• Must have strong technical skills in interventional radiology procedures

• This is a travel/contract position; local candidates are not eligible
