Job Description

  • Start Dates: 6/2 or 6/23
  • Shift Requirements:
    • 3x12 hour shifts preferred, but 4x12 hour shifts may be considered for qualified travelers.
    • Rotation between 4 weeks of nights and 4 weeks of days.
  • Patient Population: Supporting ED Boarder population within a specific neighborhood in the Emergency Department (ED).
  • Weekend Work: Consideration for travelers with a set weekend schedule.

Credentialing Requirements

Mandatory Credentials

  1. MGB Badge Photo: Color photo taken within the last 6 months.
  2. License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification.
  3. Fit Test: N95 fit test completed within 365 days prior to start date.
  4. COVID-19 Vaccine: Completed primary vaccination series or up-to-date COVID vaccine.
  5. MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or proof of immunity.
  6. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
  7. TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test within 3 months of start date.
  8. Health Statement: Signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
  9. MGB Criminal Background Check: Required for submission.
  10. MGB Massachusetts CORI: Criminal history check for the state of MA.
  11. MGB Resume: Include past 7 years of work experience.
  12. Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required for fit testing.
  13. MGB References: Minimum of 2 recent references, including 1 supervisor or above.
  14. MGB Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
  15. MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required upon acceptance of assignment.
  16. Education Verification: Verification of highest level of education achieved.
  17. MGB SSN Trace: Verification of addresses/aliases for the past 7 years.
  18. MGB National Sex Offender Check: Conducted within 30 days of start.
  19. MGB Exclusion Checks: Search OIG, GSA, and MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists.

Preferred Credentials

  • Hepatitis B Vaccination: Record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity.
  • Tdap Vaccination: Vaccine within the last 10 years.

Additional Information

  • All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start date.
  • No exemptions or waivers for vaccination requirements will be considered.
  • Background checks and credential verifications are mandatory for compliance.
