Job Description

• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)

• Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to scrub with physician during procedures.
  • Manage x-ray equipment and procedural equipment.

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.

• On Call Hours:

  • Weeknights: 1730-0700
  • Weekends and Holidays: 0700-0700
  • All call is evenly rotated amongst staff.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Certifications

• ACLS: Name must match, proof of name change is not acceptable.
• BLS: Name must match, proof of name change is not acceptable.
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification may be required.
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure certification may be required.
• State License Verification: Required for all candidates.
• NURSYS Verification: Required for RNs.
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required per specialty.
• CPI Certification: Required per specialty.

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
• Fit Mask: Fit testing must be completed prior to start.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years required.
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray required within 1 year of start.
  • MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination or exemption required.

Background Check

• 7-year criminal check required within a year of start.

References

• 2 professional references required (only 1 for non-clinical candidates).

Education Verification

• Proof of highest level of education required.
• Diploma or transcript may be used if education verification is unable to verify.

• Unit specific skills checklist required, must be updated annually (not required for non-clinical candidates).
