MRI Technologist - Travel Position

Location: Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Virginia
Hospital System: Valley Health System (Parent)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

  • Role: MRI Technologist
  • Department: MRI Technologist Unit
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
  • Shift Schedule:
    • Week 1: Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
    • Week 2: Sunday, Thursday & Friday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
    • Work a consecutive Saturday & Sunday, then off the next Saturday & Sunday
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other Saturday & Sunday
  • On-Call: None

Responsibilities

  • Perform general MRI procedures on outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year hospital MRI experience
  • IV placement
  • Power Injector operation
  • MRI compassion and collaboration skills
  • Preferred experience with Siemens Altea / Avanto equipment

Certifications & Licenses

  • BLS (AHA only)
  • ARRT (R & MR)
  • Virginia State License (or status of license if not yet obtained)

  • Attire must comply with Valley Health dress code policy
