Job Description
- Position in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Work schedule: 36 hours per week with on-call shifts required (at least one night a week and one weekend every three weeks). Response time for on-call is 30 minutes.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following:
- Angioplasty
- Stent placement
- IABP (Intra-aortic balloon pump)
- Impella
- Rotablader
- Pacemaker/ICDs
- Scrubbing
- Hemodynamics (if not experienced, will be scrubbing all cases)
- Bonus points for experience with:
- EP (Electrophysiology)
- Watchman
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
Required Certifications
- BLS: Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- CRT: State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist
- CRTFP: State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit
- ARRT: American Registry Radiologic Technologists (required for all employees hired after August 30, 2020)
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology
Additional Requirements
- Health History:
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster (or exemptions)
- Proof of MMR immunizations or positive IGG titer
- Proof of Hepatitis B immunizations or positive antibody titer
- Proof of Varicella immunizations or positive titer
- Proof of Tdap vaccination within the past 10 years
- Negative TB test or QuantiFERON Gold results
- Health statement confirming ability to work without restrictions
- Professional Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License/State ID
- Resume or Profile
- Two professional references (one must be supervisory)
- Criminal background check results
- OIG, EPLS, OFAC, and National Sex Offender searches
- Medi-Cal Suspended and Ineligible Provider List verification
- Drug screen results (9 panel minus THC)
- Skills checklist specific to the role
- Confirmation of assignment/job description
- Acknowledgment of receipt for policy packet
- Dispute resolution agreement
- Badge photo following specified guidelines
- Attestation of any known record of DNS (Do Not Rehire/Send)
